And so we were en route again. Back in the train to the boat leaving at 17:40.

Borkum
House in the main street, behind the railway, seen from the park. In the park birds were fighting for crumbs from our icecream-horns.

Eating out on a warm Saturdayevening at Hotel de Brink in Dwingeloo
This food was 300.000 times better than the food we had at Hammingh, last week. And in the end the bill was the same, even though we had more items in Dwingeloo. So, Hammingh needs to step up a bit.
Hotel de Brink in Dwingeloo
Just before ordering, which took a very long time. From our side. We just couldn't make a choice. Something big, something small, fish, meat, veggie?

Canto ostinato in the Groningen railwaystation
Simeon ten Holt's Canto ostinato for four piano's played in the hall of the Groningen main railwaystation. I had to miss the first half hour but the next hour and fourtyfive minutes were excellent anyway. I stood with my back to the main entry which provided a cool breeze whilst looking a the sunlit hall where four pianists played a marvelous version of Canto ostinato.

Chez Hammingh
Eating out in Garnwerd. Hammingh serves not the best meals ever (they're okay and standard meat/fish with slightly uninspired potato-variations and overcooked veggies) but they make up for that with the best location along the river Reitdiep on bicycle-distance from Groningen.
Morning building
In the fresh morning light everything looks prettier. Even green towers in Winschoten.

Toekomst factory being restored
Old factory De Toekomst in Scheemda (The Future) is being restored. The factory featured in Paul Verhoeven's Black Book. The factory will become an information-center for water-knowledge (?I have no idea. Something with water. Something with knowledge.)

Oosterwijtwerd Church of Mary
Church in Oosterwijtwerd where we heard strange footsteps continually in the church as if someone was coming down the stairs forever.

Vismarkt, one of two main marketsquares in the city of Groningen, empty compared to a normal Saturday when the Dutch national team doesn't play soccer.

Bicycle
Driving my bicycle home after my coaching-session. Not much tangible progress but a lot is happening and a lot needs to be done.
