It gets light later and later which is especially noticeable at this time of year. A month earlier the whole square was bathing in the sunlight at this time of day, eight o'clock in the morning, but now the first floor is still in the shadows.

Berghotel Amersfoort
Loitering outside Berghotel Amersfoort in a break from the first two-day training with Schouten en Nelissen. The weather looks great today, sunny with blue skies. But it is rather fresh.
Nevertheless, it is very good to clear my head and be outside during the break.

Kopaf in the northernmost part of Oldambt
This house is for sale but we didn't like it. It lies where two roads cross, at a bridge, with trees blocking the light. The garden was nice and deep, just as we like it, but that was the only pre. And it was too expensive. No wonder it's on the market for almost two years.

Vismarkt from the balcony of Australian chocolates and coffee
While waiting for Jan I snapped this picture of the Vismarkt going from a rainy Friday-afternoon to a sunny late-summer, early autumn late afternoon.

Weem in Westeremden
The house of painter Henk Helmantel whom we met after we visited his 20th yearly exhibition. This was our first time and I thoroughly enjoyed the tone of light of his paintings. As we left he just came out of the door and we exchanged a few words about the beautiful weather.

Zaltbommel and the river Waal
After meeting with a coach from Schouten en Nelissen I picked up my wife again who was sitting at the riverfront in Zaltbommel.
Before the meeting we had lunch together, then I left and she walked around the old town.
It was beautiful weather today and before we returned home we had the best icecream I had in ages at Tiesimo in the Gamerschestraat. I know good icemakers but this one tops my list now.
