I didn't look for a plaque describing who or what this statue is and I couldn't find it on the net, so I guess this is just a statue with creepy eyes.

In Dutch Snorri means moustachoid. The man was murdered but not because of his moustache. It was only because his brother-in-law wanted to grab the power.

I think this is the ugliest monument I have ever seen in the Netherlands. It does come close to the statue at the Source de la Seine.
