I worked in this building and I also remember it as the last minute goto to pay the phonebill before electronic banking was there.

While waiting in the traffic-jam this morning (a 10 minute ride took me 55 minutes) I saw Knol's Koek factory. Knol's Koek is the local, special "Ontbijtkoek" which is the best of the best.
