The new Harpa

The new Harpa by XPeria2Day
The new Harpa, a photo by XPeria2Day on Flickr.

The new concerthall Harpa in Reykjavík is like a giant glass beehive. I haven't heard a concert but I walked inside and outside and had a coffee on it's terrace in the warm sun

Scheemda

Scheemda, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

On the edge of Scheemda, which is also the center of Scheemda (Scheemda being very small), lies this beautiful house.

Slochteren

Slochteren, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

Old school

Oh that school would still be there,
chestnut trees in the square;
the heavy door.
Plates of knights with a cross
and Goejanverwellesluis;
Full color

These beautiful school where you stood with
pass a stolen cigarette
in 't bicycle.
There, you squint and shakiness
and misery of green and yellow,
another trait.

And as the master's birthday
it was noisy in the classroom;
and you sat there.
And you expected so direct
a very interesting report effect:
Hit cigar

You played in the school tournament
and the beginning was wonderful;
fine football again.
You got on your face, 10-1
the small goalkeeper in his goal:
He wept much

The autumn leaves on the ground
strode up so nice in it around;
the school over.
And winter was the hot stove
and if you do then threw snow,
then he hissed.

It should all still be:
the door, the trees and the square;
the large hedge.
Only those beautiful light sheet,
desa which a small state,
may be gone.

Bar, Lombok, Sumba, Sumbawa,
Floris, Timor etc.

Wind

Wind, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

Building a new building at the site of the original studentflat at the end of what was once a throughway and where once my aunt lived and where my cousin was born. I took the picture from the hotel next to the Martiniplaza where I had a meeting with my colleague.

Monkey-rock

Monk, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

Monkey rock is the nickname of the HQ of the Gasunie. Actually, the building symbolizes a gasflame. It sits at the end of a park, directly at the intersection of the ringroad and the A7 highway, from Amsterdam to the north of Germany.

Closer

Closer, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

The campus is closing the free space in. I am standing here on the outer edge of the Zerniketerrein with my back towards the KVI. When I was a student, only one third max of the terrain was occupied. Now only the last quarter maybe remains without buildings.

Where can the deer go when the buildings come any closer?p>

Parking

Parking, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

I like parking. This is a parkingspace for everybody except the employees in the building behind it.
