Cow and powerlines

Cow., originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

This cow was with her sisters in the meadow near the old castle Selwerd. We had just passed training members of the Astrea Loopgroep when I saw two beautiful cows ready for a photoshoot. Sadly it took a while before I could take the picture and by then it was too late. This cow, however, made well up for it.

Shop

Shop, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

Waiting for the shop to open. My computer became a right nuisance the last week. Freezing several times per day. And I thought it was the Ubuntu-update. But then I decided to run memtest and it even booted spontaneously in the middle of the tests. Now I understood it to be a RAM problem. So I took it to the shop who will probably replace the faulty RAM.

Walking on the grass to avoid the dense populated area-saterday afernoon-shoppers-strollers we bought some icecream from Toscana's small choice.

Food. Lunch with Noor.

Food, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

In Sodom, having lunch at the lunchroom in the Langestraat, the one on the corner opposite of Blokker and next to the alley, close to the phoneshop. Very good sandwiches.

View towards Leermens

Will this be our new house? Who knows. It's coming closer and closer and it is getting scarier and scarier. The decision will happen soon, I feel.

Streetlight divides the picture

Winschoten, de Venne, this afternoon is warm, very warm. Too warm for a nice, lunch-break walk. I bring my shoes to the most-beautiful-shoeshopgirl-I-have-ever-met, get some money from the ATM and walk, back as slow as I can, to work.

Westerdijkshorn

W, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

Lovely churchtower, my favourite churchtower in this part of the country. We passed it by on the high point of our bicycle-ride. After this we went south again to end up at Moeke Vaatstra for french fries.

Groningen view

Land, grass, horizon, blue sky and clouds. That's Groningen for you.

Guitars

Guitars, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

In the shop guitars hang side by side, ready to be tried and tested. I myself would opt for a drumkit and when I'm high or in a fix I find it easy to express myself, I hit the drums so hard I break all the heads.

Market and pedestrian-crossing

Market, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

On a Saturday as seen from the balcony of Australian chocolate, icecream and coffee. It's quiet in town because it's holiday-time.

On my way to Mirjam

M, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

But only a few minutes later I was already on my way home again. No appointment for today. It must be in the stars because before I headed here we noticed two different times for an appointment later today with Amy Steel.

Reflection, but not so that you'd notice

Reflection, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

There's a reflection of the telescope-dome in the middle-tower. But it's not very clear in this picture with this camera on this day by this photographer. And/or other reasons.

Driving and snapping

C, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

Driving, taking pictures and e-mailing them at the same time is dangerous. I admit it. Here I'm driving home after work.

Balloon and sunset

Balloon anf sunset, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

On the Zernike campus-site we spotted two deer who waited and waited while we waited and waited for them. Finally we moved and then they moved.

Before that we saw a hotair balloon.

Sunset

In Paddepoel on the Zernike campus, this building could be seen against the setting sun.

Pond, flags and bicycle

H, originally uploaded by XPeria2Day.

I waited a bit for the bicycle to come into the picture. The camera is slow, though and I couldn't time exactly where she''d end up.

This hospital will move to a new location at some point. Will the new townhall move into this building?
